@ Catholicdadof4 - Your faith will see you through, not the Church. God did not establish a "church" neither did Christ. That was not his mission, his truth. The early Church was established for purely political reasons and to have power over the people. These scholars had the benefit of education and reading skills which the majority didn't therefore, they took the word and the 'rewriting' of what the Christ came to teach and share with us and changed it to suit their agendas. The Apostles Creed IS NOT in the Bible! In fact it comes straight out of Babylon where it was used in regards to the Babylonian son of god Tammuz. It passed along through many other pagan religions until it finally settled on the Greco/Roman son of God Hercules. When "Christianity" began to rise in popularity the old Roman Religion morphed into the current Roman religion and brought this screed with it. Every line of the Apostles Creed is contradicted by scripture that IS in the Bible.
