Thanks for the tips on growing these berries. I just love them and they cost so much. So I want to grow my own. Thanks Doug in Calif...

Thanks for posting this. I live in the same area and will surely grow the goji now.
Google "Golden Spike", "Transcontinental Railroad". (Utah) The Chinese worked on that line back in 1868. There are tons of wild Goji Berries growing out there in the high desert. You can take cuttings, which is the best way to propagate Goji.
I don't know where you are located but if you can get there, you will have a really nice, old strain of Goji that is very drought resistant.
I got about 50 cuttings Sunday and they are rooting in my green house now.
I only live 150 miles from there.

That's awesome man... I'm not that close to Utah though. I live in the greater Toronto area, Canada :)

This is the second year I've had my Goji plants in and they are 8 feet tall with tons of berries. I started the in Febuary in my grow room and p[lated them out when they were about 3 or 4 inches tall. I gave them mild hydroponic nutes and watered twice a week. I love the taste of them and I swipe a few everytime I water. I am going to take the seed and grow a million of them next year. Thanks for posting this.

@magprob
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing.
I have a "bush" from this batch that's about a year old and it's most likely 7 feet tall. I started a new batch a couple of months ago and they grew so fast and seem way stronger than my other plant that was grown indoors for the first 6-8 months... I can't wait for the berries!
