Second Museum Trip

Second trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a second art history paper I had to do. I went to the Arms and Armor exhibit and found some glorious stuff I thought I'd share.

The tapestry at the end was in a separate part, the Medieval Art exhibit, and depicts the legend of Armadis of Gaul.

well, you duck and hit them with halberd from the side. plated armors are not really thick and can be penetrated easily with any straight thrust of a sword

@chwuwd It's the way they're shaped, not necessarily the thickness itself. Going for the armpits was a common tactic because those areas couldn't be plated. A sword thrust to most areas would do no good.

this place is magical everytime I remember being in the armor room I remember feeling really spaced out but in a good way I gotta get back there for a visit

Interesting, after projectile weapons, armor disappeared. But now it has returned. Interesting.
