  • When a circle's diameter is 1 unit, its circumference is π units. So you can't use a bigger circle. The scale shows how the units are measured, so you have to use this size to calculate π correctly.

  • @ROCKNintendoYO The unit 1 represents the diameter which could be 1 yard or 23 inches or any other size. The video shows how many times the diameter fits into the circumference, no matter what the diameter is, the circumference will always be 3.1415.. (π) times the diameter.

  • @Countlouis you're welcome, and thanks for the video. it helped me explain pi to my teacher's class.

  • @drkenun oops! :) you're right! thanks :)

  • @Countlouis *I'm sorry I meant the diameter into the circumference

  • @Countlouis how many times the diameter fits into the circumference, you mean :p

  • @GRMEGISTOS You're looking intelligent, very useful comment, great! Thumbs up for another retarded!!

  • LOSER...

  • it was because he mesure 22 cm with ruler,aproksimately,not exactly.

    r=3.5 cm , so O=2r Pi=2*3.5*3.14=21,98

    but if u do it with Pi = 3.14159265... it wil be O=21,99114... so O/2r=21,99114.../7=3,141592654...

    First Pi was calculated aproximately,which was good cos we still used 3.14

  • @ssusulic79

    Pi=3.14159265... not 22/7=3.14285714

  • This is so stupid...

    It's 22 / 7 = 3.142857.... O=22cm , 2r=7cm

    It is done by some guy(can't remember his name) who roll circle (diametar 7 cm) on the table,then mesure it and divided...so simple
