The old days playing FFXI

This was taken way back when I played FFXI. Man I miss those days. The person recording the video was Catu. I'm the bard that shows up in the left with the harp. This was actually a pretty tough battle.

I so agree, i have made a total of three characters that i had taken over lv 65 and the first two being over 70.

Its extremely fun during levels 10-50 and maybe even from lv 50-55 but then it starts to water down after that due to the insane xp rate and long ass wait for a pt.

Tbh i hate the TOAU areas, they take away that "Final fantasy" landscape and those areas are so bland.

Well too bad i quit a while ago and can't get back b/c my dad cancelled his credit card T-T.

I played this game for 6 years, from 2004-2010, and I have to agree that the game was much better in the early days. There was just so much more of a real community playing the game, but it really started to slip after the mini-expansions started coming out. Then when they started raising the level cap and opened up Abbysea it was like that was all anybody ever did anymore, grind grind grind...so boring. There was no skill required, you got like 100k exp an hour...

I miss the old days. people done even level in Valkurm Dunes anymore. It's all Gusgen Mines from 9-25 or whatever.
