What would 5/6 divided by 7/12 be?
@northstar

@CluedoKidz flip the second fraction, then multiply across and simplify: 5/6 x 12/7 = 60/42 = 30/21 = 10/7 = 1 and 3/7

@northstar15 how do I know when its ok to Cross Cancel?
TheGuinnessboys 4 months ago
@TheGuinnessboys please see my ltet vi on cros-cancelig--the numerator of one fraction must be a factor of the denominator of the other fraction or vice versa.
I am uploading a second cross-canceling vid later today that you should watch as well.
Remember, if cross-canceleing confuses you, ten just don't use that technique--instead, just multiply across and then simplify later.
