Bell & Ross Airborne Tribute

Perpetuelle.com. The BR 01 Airborne was developed in honor of the courageous soldiers who fought during World War II, particularly the paratroopers of the US Airborne divisions. The skull was one of the emblems they wore on their uniforms as a symbol of courage in the face of death.

I love the Bell & Ross' aviation series, and I've been trying to figure out why this watch was even created. This video enlightened me as far as the idea, but I still can't bring myself to embrace it. It seems to contradict everything that makes their other watches so appealing to me; the aesthetic, the character, the functionality, and above all the readability of the standard BR-01 or BR-03 watches.

Amazing watch, amazing history, the store i work in orlando , only representative for bell & ross did received this piece ,,, was $ 6000 + tax , out the doorrrrr!! Sold so fast:-)

The concept is great, but the watch?? It is time only with a skull. I get the meaning of the skull, but it looks a little strange. I love watches, history and miltiary aviation, but I just don't get the style of this thing.
