Laser animation using 650nm 300mW DVD burner diode with glass collimating optics.

Here is a collection of animations I have made with my new laser animation engine. This also uses the new analog modulation circuit I have designed for LM317 based drivers, using only two transistors. There is also a section at the end showing live free hand drawing then animation added to that as well. Sorry about the quality of the video, my camera doesn't seem to handle the 650nm color too well, 532nm is far better. Equipment used: My own laser software + Hardware. Cambridge 6800H scanners (many blown scanner fuses:) + 300mW 650nm DVD burner diode + collimating optics bought from eBay for about $49.
