More parents should be as loving and supportive as Jackie's parents are.

I agree. But being loving and supportive doesn't mean you don't have doubts or that you are fully accepting. It just means you love your child and you don't reject them or make them feel isolated. There's a balance between being totally accepting and totally rejecting.

jackie is very blessed to have such loving and enlightened parents ,bless their hearts they are true heroes

and jackie will have an amazing life i wish i had transitioned at jackies age ,it would have saved me from a lot of heartache

I am 35. I started my transition when I was 18. Due to starting young and my genetics I was able to transition very well. I feel exactly the same at 35 as I did when I was a small child. People don’t change their minds, nor would they choose a life of obstacles. I would raise more questions to people who transition at an older age showing no signs of genderdisophoria, rather than a child. I think it is wonderful they are allowing HRT and blockers for these children.
