I love the 11th doctor but I did love the 10th because, well, who doesn't love David Tennant? I really loved that they referenced Rose and some of the past companions here. It kind of annoys me that they never really reference them anymore. The only references that are really made of the past are the bad aliens. I did hear that Captain Jack Harkness may be showing up in series 7 :)

I never liked Rose all too much, she seemed much too clingy. Donna on the other hand, I loved her! :D

The Doctor has lived ten lifetimes over a thousand years, but despite the changing appearance he's still the same man. The eleventh doctor is as much the tenth doctor as he is the first. Who he sees first and last during each incarnation is completely meaningless.

It sounds like your problem with River is that she's actually INTERESTING.

Such hatred towards Rose... For me, Rose is my favorite. The Doctor LOVED Rose... River I despise. I don't know why, but there's something about her that I just don't like... It might be because she makes it seem like Rose wasn't anything to the Doctor. When she really was. I mean, if you think about it, Rose was the first HUMAN that the Tenth Doctor saw and the last HUMAN he saw. Rose wins for me. ^.^

I loved Rose and Donna as the Doctor's companion for different reasons... Donna was very companion-like and would stand tall beside the Doctor, like an older sister... while Rose was more to a love relationship, she should get some credit for changing him rite?... i didnt like Martha much because she seems to have no character-ground to stand on, although the actress did well, Martha's character is a bit dull.

@damnthosedaleks Donna is my favorite companion too! I loved thier brother/sister relationship :) But I adore Rose just as much, so they are tied for 1st place. Martha...well I only watch about 3 episodes of season 3 because I can't stand her always whining about the Doctor. Amy and Rory are in second place :)
