Meet Skyler. Skyler is 45 years old. Years working with the suits has taken up much of his time. Yet, having moved here to work at Microsoft, he isn't sure how to take advantage of the natural resources around him . With income of $70,000, he has a little extra to spend. With a small family and limited time he often finds himself saying "I really should..." and not fulfilling his wishes.

We find Skyler home from a long day at work, he feels detached and dismantled. With his tie off, he relaxes and has an idea. Get outdoors, ground himself with the natural resources so close by. Does he bring his family, his buds, or just go by himself? This isn't the only question, but it should be.

He needs to figure out where to go, check what is going on locally, book the hotel, schedule the guide services, pack food, and other things make the process impossible for Skyler. Oh yeah, he can't risk not being able to bring his office with him. Probably a no-go.

He remembers Sea to Sky. He calls and a specialist listens to his needs. The right package is put together and....DONE! He's on his way.

While on the train, he admires the trees, the peacefulness, and the history that he knows traveled across these tracks connecting the east to the west. Already there is a new relationship forming.

Upon arrival it's clear where he is going. With only a bag of clothes (he opted to leave his old gear at home in favor of renting). He enters a building that seems to have it all. In fact Sea to Sky consolidates the local resources in one place. No one else really does this. Strong local partnerships means that the community wants us there and their presence is obvious. A hub of information and activity. Skyler sees that the gaps in this trip have many options to fill it.

Trips: all-season adventures in nature offered through local partnerships
Entertainment: concerts, nearby artists stop by to play,
Guide services: like guided hikes and climbs
Business services:business meetings and full service amenities (like wi-fi access) ensure a beat isn't missed
Awareness of a local history is essential. We serve as a cultural center preserving local history
A place to sleep, single rooms to hostel-like accommodations are available for Skyler to rest his head.
Of course, drinks and a chance to socialize with the other visitors. A space to build community.

Skyler is on his way to enjoy!

All local, each a point of revenue or service fee

Skyler didn't realize the town had so much to offer, the economic impact of his visit, or what it meant to support a community and the natural environment. He does now. Leaving with an assessment describing each.

Developing a sense of place away from home is difficult to do, but in doing so a life-long advocate and customer is born. Wishing to bring back his family, company, or son for retreats and future events.

We are ready for your visit
