  • I remember they used to write everything down on paper. Brilliant shop. Happy times.

  • A fitting tribute indeed! lol

As a former staff member I shall forever treasure such fond memories as the 'reserved' cave of wonders, being knocked senseless with the Staff Beater in it's later reincarnations and being presumed gay for singing along to Hannah's Alanis Morissette albums...

    Good times!

  • lol

  • I must admit that it was a shock when I got to the shop a couple of weeks ago, and found it was something else.

After a brief moment of horror, I looked over the road and found them still there. Phew!

  • You should have been there for the first end of an era when they moved out of the indoor market in Croydon.

Nostalgia aint what it used to be.

  • Are you kidding me??? I have been here!!! I recognise the shop sign!!

  • I remember those - they were in the little glass cabinet! Xaphod for the win...

  • Ah the end of an era, I bought some Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy lead figures from there.

  • You loonies :D
