There's alot that you have to do. You can do it, it'll take a couple days since your a novice as so am i, but it'll be awhile. PM me for a site for 3800 NA upgrades.
Also, join the Montecarloforums (search on google) We help anyone that has problems, questions, concerns and anything about a monte carlo. My name on there is the same as my name for YouTube.

That is probably the best option. You need to beef up your 4t65e or swap it for a 4t65e-hd and beef up your lower end if you plan on modifying it substantially.
the m90 that got showed in this video is off of a 3800 thunderbird supercoupe

@ERIC933G - Yup. It's an Eaton unit used on many many vehicles.

@ponchochan yup but a different style it wouldn't work on a gtp engine.

@ERIC933G - The chassis of the m90 is unchanged, just the throttle body mounted to it.

@anewzack78 - Well, you can, its called a Top Swap, but it is a higher compression head, and because of that more supporting mods are needed over a standard L67 swap. Otherwise you run in to KR and pinging... But the stock pulley gives you more power in an L36 than an L67 because the compression is higher and therefore the same amount of boost on a higher compression motor yields more power, but at the cost of some reliability.
