Flying Harness Test Flight

Ghetto though it may look, I designed and built a Flying Harnass for one of my Tornado Dancers to use in "OZ." It worked great, and the audience's reaction every night was marvelous.

Anyway, here is Cassidy in all her glory!

I really hope that the cushions on the floor was your backup plan if things went wrong. Way too easy to get hurt with flys.

Yeah the cushions were there for a flip we tried right before filming this, Ghetto right? We actually didn't have anything go wrong, the only minor injury that was incurred happened when her hair got a little tangles in the clip right before her flight scene.

Already did! We built one for when I did "the snow queen." Functioned and looked exaclty like the broadway lift for Defying Gravity.

We dismantled it after we were done, HOWEVER I can build a model of how I did and do a tutorial. Would you like that?

It was pretty cool. That play was a great one. My daughter worked very hard behind the scenes along with her friends. I am thinking the next play Chad puts on I will take pizzas to the set crew a few times. They are usually there all day and up until 11:30 at night sometimes setting up and practicing.
