I'm still getting over his comment about Simon Cowell being a sponger. That's a bit rich coming from a guy who married a Queen and now lives in luxury at taxpayer's expense.

A) He was a member of the Greek Royal Family, not some chancer who married the Queen to live in luxury. She proposed to him you know. B) He at least served the United Kingdom as a distinguished Royal Navy officer and WWII veteran. Simon Cowell's loyalty is to naught but himself and mammon. Simon Cowell does sponge off the talent of others, he does not seem to be particularly good at anything. There is a difference between being rich (aristocracy) and tasteless 'newly rich' (celebrities).

The monarchy also now has to pay taxes like everyone else, which is absurd, but they are also therefore taxpayers.
