I would be fired if I was caught stacking plates directly on the table. Plus our plates are porcelain and heavy.

Being a silver service waiter myself I believe this video is highly miss-informative. Not only because you have to stack and clear the plates on your hand but also because if the customers are still seated it is very rude to clear the plates while still on the table. This is not just a silver service standard but a general standard

WOW the least thirsty customers ever! No glasses on the table!! LOL if you wanna show a real demostration you need to add a bottle of wine, 3 - 4 wine and regular glasses and few sodas.. that would be fun.
