How "Trumpet", Bernedette's partner who passed away at the beginning of the film, got his nickname. They cut it out because the joke referred to an Australian biscuit brand and were afraid that foreigners wouldn't get it.

  • @jacksta3 in some editions of the DVD releases over the years, it's either in the movie [your DVD] or on the disc as a deleted scene and not part of the main movie track [for example, my R4 MGM DVD from a couple of years ago].

    your DVD is not the gold master of all Priscilla DVDs, you know.

  • Well they've put it back in. Cos it's in my DVD of the film.

  • @jacksta3 the line about the foreskin was cut out from "still it was better than nothing" until "nothing...nothing for miles"
