Gauntlet Dark Legacy; Midway; PS2; Difficulty: Hard

This video will show the Green Archer (played by me) battling the Wraith using the Latern of Revelation.

All damage taken was minimized because all of the hits were blocked successfully.

I liked the results overall, especially when I have successfully dodged/blocked all of the Wraith's attacks as necessary.

Enjoy, rate, and comment.

  • I only *just* noticed the Wraith's snake attacks are a throwback to Smash TV. =D

  • @Mk97709 yeah, i think the carnival is more scary then the house and nightmare

  • @SigmaSudou This game brings back so many happy memories.. That's why im going to gamestop getting a gamecube for 20 bucks, and buying a copy on ebay.

  • @Kimoshnikov I had no intention of mocking you.

All that I am saying is that you have the skills to beat a boss that many had trouble dealing with.

  • @SigmaSudou

It sounded like you were mocking me and my obvious tactics to beat a boss :p

  • @Kimoshnikov So true. Thanks for clearing that up.

And I brought up the hint from the instruction booklet because most of the players do not utilize the block function.

  • @SigmaSudou

the point of my post was that you have to stand close with the warrior to even hit him.

  • @Kimoshnikov Great job. You proved that blocking can help a hero last longer (which is written as a hint in the instruction booklet BTW.)

  • @SigmaSudou

I beat the wraith w/warrior about an hour ago. just stand close and block attacks so u can hit him xD

  • @Kimoshnikov I am glad you brought that up. I have been having the same problem too. I had no problems hitting the Wraith with most of the other characters. But the Warrior's weird firing angle coupled with the altered hitboxes made the fight against the Wraith that much harder for him in the Gamecube version.

I had no problems using the Warrior against the Wraith in the arcade and PS2 though.

Midway just had to screw around with the hitboxes and aiming in the Gamecube version.
