AUCD A Guided Tour

George Jesien, executive director of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities, welcomes you to the AUCD Web site and this guided tour which provides an overview of the Association and its network of university centers and programs.

You may be taking this tour as a new faculty or staff member at one of the University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, known as UCEDDs; or the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities programs, known as LENDs; or still the Developmental Disabilities Research Centers, known as DDRCs--in total, over 80 university centers across the country, dedicated to research, education, and services for and with people with disabilities across the lifespan. You might be a LEND or UCEDD trainee; a family member or person with a disability; a policy maker or legislator visiting the AUCD website looking for resources or information.

This guided tour is a free-form walk around our network. You can take it sequentially or you can focus on particular parts and come back to the main thread. Either way, enjoy the exploration.
