He is Pt. Birju Maharaj ji and the female dancer is Smt. Bharti Gupta, former guru at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi. I know them both since childhood. MANSI DABRAL

yes he is birju Maharaj, here he performing the role of late Shri Thakur Prasad , his great grand grand father, who was teacher of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah.
