People should not be hypocritical. Animals feel pain no matter what way you kill them. It doesn’t matter if they are shot, strangled, stunned, suffocated, stabbed, culled or euthanized. It all amounts to the last traumatic experience of their short lives. We should be more concerned with the factory farming practices here in the US then the methods the South Koreans use to prevent a pandemic that could spread to all the livestock in their country and possibly humans!
