I used the Apogee with an inexpensive external Audio Technica Condenser Mic running through a Voicelive 2 . I have not tried a recording using the Apogee built in Mic as of yet.
Thanks for the comment on the song.

Your arrangement has a ZZ Top feel to it. It's great.

I'm telling you, that rocks, and you did keep the spirit of the Spirit in the Sky. I love your arrangement. I have always loved this song. Most people don't know that it was written by a secular Jew, Norman Greenbaum. Keep up the creativity. Very nice.

@AlShaddai Ironic huh? The story goes Norman wasn't a big Jesus Freak or anything but he decided to cash in on the 70s Christian movement. Maybe, maybe not but still it was a cool song.

Hey duuude!
This sounds awesome!
I was wondering if you used the internal mic of the apogee one or an external mic?
Hope to get respond

I have posted a comment about the mic setup with the Audio Technica AT2020. The instruments were direct into the Apogee and recorded with Garage Band.
