Evacuation of Boston by the British on March 17, 1776. John Van Eych announces breaking news of the evacuation of General Howe's forces from the town of Boston. Filmed in Williamstown Massachusetts at the 1753 house constructed using the tools common to the period. This historical cabin can be seen at Field Park across from the David and Joyce Milne Library in Williamstown MA.
