This is definitely one of the places I'll want to visit if I ever go to France. It's a shame only a part of it is open to the public, but it makes sense considering you'd probably be screwed if you lost your way down there. I've heard this song in before, but I can't place it. What's it called?

if you want shock vaule then look at scariest places on earth and their investigation to a man who went missing in the catacombs. if you look at it through a historical point of view this is what you get and its nice so scary anymore. its quite sad if you think about it. your last resting place is in a dark, dank tunnel being treated like sewage.

I think some of you are missing the point...if you want a "spooky", "Scary" film go rent a horror. These are real peoples' graves and as such if the dude who made this video wants to use non-scary music then why should that bother you so much?

Thanks for your comment ... I said my first impression , ( on initially seeing the bones etc ) was a bit spooky , it was not my intention to make a "spooky film ."..
I felt it was worth putting on You Tube , in order to let people decide for themselves if they wanted to go there , when visiting Paris ..... Having said that the entrance to the Catacombs is not easy to find .. but they are well worth a visit .. a very quiet place
The tunnels were used by the French Resistance in WW2

It is a bit spooky when you first see the bones , but then you start to wonder what they all did when they were alive .... it seems a shame that they all had to end up here the way they are, instead of being left at rest where they were first buried .......
