"David and Goliath" Civil Disobedience September 15, 2007

Led by Iraq Veterans against the War at our nations Capitol, a protester in opposition to our government's war crimes climbs over the wall and police barricade. Leading the chant "What do we want? Peace, When do we want it?, NOW, he thrusts a sign in the air proclaiming "Support the troops, stop the war".

He never misses a beat of the chant , even as he is brutally taken down, and dragged away like so many others that day in a massive act of Civil Disobedience, and a major turning point in the Peace Movement.

Yeah instead of just by-standing like that you know eventually you need to take out the cops one way or the other. Otherwise you can go to all the protest you want and stand around and chant while your blue in the face. Also you help the government by spending on gas going to Washington dc then buying food or drinks while there and employing more scumbags in uniform you want to make a real difference look what the Greeks and Londoner's are doing in there protest. Thats where true revolution take

I agree with Mephistonia... bring guns if they just charge and tackle you for talking about free speech orr wanting peace... the cops are like "NO PEACE FOR U!" when they should be with the protesters for peace... but i guess thats just a good world, we are on EARTH after all.... full of cops that say they are for protecting civlians but tackle the ones that say they want peace :/

@imallconfused3 I retract my previous opinions on the matter because I watched some other videos of this. They didn't arrest this guy because of what he was saying; they arrested him because he climbed over the security barriers preventing all the protestors from approaching the capitol building. They only arrested the protestors that climbed over the barriers and didn't even touch the multitude of other protestors that were saying all the same things but didn't climb over the barriers.

to stop talking or to leave anywhere or do anything you better do it...

So why are people so much higher just because they have badge??

if the cops dont want to hear what we have to say then stay the fuck away

from a protest...
