Instead we have practically the entire southern part of the U.S. with people in other regions being the poorest in the entire country, most uneducated (literally because the school dropout is amongst the highest), and yet the most people in the welfare system voting for those who are against their own best interests. I'm a conservative Democrat who was thinking of voting for McCain until McCain stated on national television that he doesn't know anything about economics.
