  • I think Lady Vetinari's performance isn't too bad, but her costume and hair are the epitome of how they shouldn't be. Anyone who knows Vetinari knows that, even if he was a she, he'd not be wearing a low cut, extravagant pink dress. It would be an extremely simple black dress, and her hair would be in a bun. However, if it was all you could find in the theatre closet, then I understand.

  • @Elanel thanks for the comments, yeah i can see what you mean. It was very difficult as most of our group were women and so we had to change sex roles lol. Fantastic novel by Sir Terry and a brilliant adaption of his play by Stephen Briggs

  • Yes, I have to admit I'm a bit disapointed by Lady Vetinari so far. Not that I'm saying it's impossible for a woman to play that character, I just think this version didn't really do the character justice.

  • Good play :) Not used to seeing all the females in the male parts (at least male in the book). But I like it just as well.
