  • love to see these internet warriors thrown into P-company, they wouldn't last an hour

  • Can you smoke during training and on tours? And can you join if you're a little short-sighted?

  • @MrVestaso Yes, but i'll warn you (im a heavy smoker and was during my time in the army) during basic training, you will rarely get a chance to smoke. If your used to having one in the morning, you will be weaned out of that habit, same goes for after meals etc. however after a couple of months, on weekends you can smoke when you want. After training, you will be able to smoke more or less whenever you get a free 5 minutes, including when you wake up.

And question 2, yes, but depends how short.

  • Ah yes.. i bet these lads cant wait to start dodging bullets for the greedy Corporate elite warmongers..Good luck guys as they are taking us to World war 3 with Iran soon..dont let them brainwash you like they did me 25yrs ago..we all need to wake up..This isnt about sovereignty..Your fighting for the greedy corporate elite who are bringing down our system globally...

  • @WiseEarthMan To be honest mate, most people these days are joining because they either want job security and to get away from the recession, I dont think the political side of things phases many people anymore. Its not really a case of ''im joining to serve my country'' but ''im joining to put food on the table for my wife and kids....''

  • @addicted2guitar90 nice way to put it. Someone who actually doesn't bring a bunch of political nonsense to the conversation, but someone whom actually tells the dire truth. When I get out of high school i'm joining my countries navy not just for service for my country but to get the job training and skills and have a job right out of high school.

  • @Scottishamerican1995 I would recommend the armed forces to anyone, be it army, navy or air force. My problem was I joined straight out of school, didnt realise how good it actually was money wise, well-being etc. until I left and tried settling down the civvy way.

If I could have changed anything, I would have waited until I was about 18, given myself a couple of years to grow-up and find my feet in civvy-street. Then I would have known to settle with the army as a full-time 24 year career!

  • @selimagev you do know the british army is regarded the best trained soldiers in the world. on top of that, if your a yank, we are definately a cut above you... considering even your delta force are trained by our SAS... mobile phones and internet means nothing, and to be truthful, it was a rareity for me to be allowed to use a phone, and never used internet during training, we were too busy day in and day out. So tell me selimagev... who did you serve with, and for how long? or maybe a wannabe?

  • forget about the career oppurtunities for one moment and just think about the reality of getting injured in a full on war battle. THats what its all about these days. There just isn't anything to gain from this. I seriously would not do it. Thousands of people have suffered serious life changing injuries from joining the army. You can't even make a life in this enviroment. Make love and not war and fighting. Its just a mistake people make

  • @Scottishamerican1995 Political nonesense is what gets us in the s*it in the 1st place..As i,m writing the powers that be are pushing for war with Iran/Syria which will lead to Thermo Nuclear war with Russia and China..But hey,it doesn,t matter as long as it keeps the cannon fodder employed..Do people actually think anymore??

  • 3:58 all the girls ive ever seen in the army are ugly as fuck. she does not belong there at all

  • @WiseEarthMan well said my friend

  • It depends greatly on who your training staff are as to how hard your training is, it is definitely not the same across the board even within training regiments it varies.

  • @addicted2guitar90 Where did you do your training? What Cap Badge were you? We got our phones taken off us on day 3 week 1 and only got it back when I DAORd on week 5 day 2. I was badged to Grenadier Guards, obviously at ITC.

  • @WiseEarthMan "Broken Window Fallacy" Look it up.

  • @SCE2AUX Its not about against whom..If you can forget the Sovereignty issue and realise that wars are a big money making issue..You will realise that soldiers are just cannon fodder in the Middle East..Terrorism is the excuse to keep endless wars continuing now, which is a hidden enemy..For every tax payers dollar that goes towards war there is interest on it by the Fed Reserve which is a elitist banking cartel that has nothing to do with the country...Thats where the profit goes..

  • 7:36....those are NOT pushups
