This was my first "Knee Down" filmed at
the Selby fork roundabout on a damp day in 1999, sadly the bike, the "magic roundabout" and the flyover no longer exist.............

I had a Divvy years ago and to be honest it was a bit of a pig even in the wet!.

I practiced for hours that day before being able to do it..................

Ok trooperT6, this roundabout and the flyover above it were demolished without trace about 4 years ago.its location was at Selby fork in North Yorkshire.This was filmed on a cold damp day,cant remember what month though!.

Escobarm12 - The whole point of leaning off the bike and getting your knee down is to keep the bike as upright as possible whilst cornering, that way you have more grip.

Well, the closer you lean to the pavement the less you have to fall; should you actually wipe out. It is actually common sense. In fact, I think all riders should have to drag their knee. I have even dragged elbows, helmets, jackets, boots...you name it...I have the victory tracks to prove my riding abilities!
