Had one from 2009 the other day. It drank like liquid chocolate, an absolute treat. I couldn't get past half the bottle though, the taste was just too rich. I'd rate it in the top 3 beers I've ever had, along with a 2009 Great Divide Old Ruffian, and the Avery Maharaja. Got a couple more from 2009 sitting in the fridge, along with some 2010s...gonna enjoy them once a year I guess :)

Awesome review, dont know how I missed this one. Anyway, I had the honor of indulging on this gastronomic experience of a beer last night. I must say I would rate it 11 out of 10. Probably the best tasting Imperial Stout ever.

Hi Greg, I was wondering if you have had the chance to have the Oak-aged Yeti. I recently had one that was aged (exactly for a year since the date of bottling) and it was just fantastic compared to a fresh one I had within a couple of weeks of bottling. Also, I was wondering if you have ever had the chance to have the 'Dragonslayer' , which in my opinion is a fantastic RIS ?
