Marihuana causes senseless gun murders and hit and run homicides! yeah, I saw it in a govt film so it must be true! The movie was called REEFER MADNESS, if memory serves.....

But, seriously, BIG PETROCHEM will never allow biodegradable plastics made from hemp to replace plastics from oil. There's a floating island of plastic garbage in the Pacific bigger than the State of Texas and there's no enzyme in the universe that'll eat the stuff. Too bad. Hemp is bad, and that's that.

@themadmoose245 Yes there are people in foreign countries that are basically enslaved into the drug world. Youre argument should be that once legalized it would do away with type of enslaved labor. Farmers would grow it and there wouldnt be a need for pot from other countries. We would have good ol made in the USofA stamped on it.

1. Sure there is an amount, but people still drink and drive after hearing that it causes car crashes.

2. Nobody is "enslaved" to grow marijuana.

3. Most people who grow do it for money, to BUY food for their families.

4. Just as much as any other plant.
