Army officer Nick Beighton lost his legs serving in Afghanistan and fitted with prosthetic limbs learned to row just months after learning to walk again. The 6ft 7in soldier was snapped up by the GB Rowing Team ahead of the 2012 Paralympics in London and here he shares his inspiring tale of recovery and how his legs work in a boat.
