When you think or talk about singleness, do you use words like celebrate, delicious freedom, and gift? Susan Yates, Janet Parshall, and Pastor Ligon Duncan do! Hear their refreshing take on this particular moment in your life.
If I was a Christian I'd never marry because then I wouldn't be allowed to use my head (because 'husband is the head of the wife'). Glad I'm not a Christian! (lol)
@feministdestroyer You say singleness is a curse eh? Yes it is better to be dead than to suffer loneliness when you don't want to be single by choice, but then again you said that you're surrounded by gorgeous women? i'm sure it would be alot easier for you to select a marriage mate if there are plenty of single females around your location, unless you're too broke to afford a marrige ceremony? if that's the case then why don't you stop hanging around those kind of women who's conduct is loose?
Even churches that talk about the gift of singleness don't believe it in practice. Most center all of their programming around marriage and the family. Hardly any church has an unmarried senior pastor.
You're right - none of them are single so they are really in no place to put a glorified smiley-face on singleness. There's no such thing as "the gift of singleness" anyways. The Living Bible people made that up, and have since taken it out of the newer NLT versions.
@Galatians112 The feminist movement has destroyed women and made them avoid and hate sex, so if you are single, and are not a billionaire with lots of status and power women wont even look at you then you can kiss your chances goodbye at ever being able to have sex....sex in the west is only for the extremely wealthy few and the very very lucky, and sex is rarer than water on the suns surface, even in so called christian marriages women refuse to have sex with their husbands

Okay... take it easy, no need to get all irritated now.
What do you mean that you will NEVER be able to enjoy?
Take whatever care you have to the cross.
Singleness is not a curse... if you consider yours to be, well, it's your call, you shall have whatever you say.
Grace bro.
