Marx made a number of variations of it's large 20" x 10" Glendale Station. Model 4116 and 4412 were the same except 4116 came dissembled as a kit. 4416 had cut out windows and an open door that were covered with a translucent cellophane and was lighted from the inside. 4418 had a hand cranked record player that played a departure announcement. I'm not sure of the dates they were made, but 1952 is the first year I see the 4412 showing up in the Sears Wish Book. 1956 is the first appearance of the talking 4418.
The 4418 you will see here has been modified with a digital sound system that gives a clean crisp modern version of the original announcement. This new sound unit will work in any of the models and can be bought from John Festa. E-mail him at johnretired@yahoo.com if you are interested.
@daveclarklumber Thanks Dave. John did a great job of incorporating my little video sound track into the sound board.

Thanks Brian. John sent me the sound board and had not told me he even had it made. What a surprise. I was very impressed with volume and clarity of the sound.
