that 5970 isnt that fastest out there, its the Asus Ares which a full 2 core 5870's on 1 card not 2 half cores liek a 5970 card is

it just needs the same gpu, whis is the same with all brands.
you can for example crossfire an xfx 5970 and a gigabyte 5970 and ittl work just fine :)

@lolizota No you cant.. You can only "crossfire" cards with the same cores GPU core.. For example : xfx hd 5850 and sapphire hd 5850. But you cant crossfire two different cores.. The brand is not important
