Can anyone tell me why is there alot of writing on the road?

ive seen tons of cars on this track racing for years and its about time i know why

Love the car, love the track, but that mix of slow passes from the camera car and way too much of Mr Bell's face just doesn't do it for me. This is not a good clip.

no this writing signifies where there has been an accident or crash.

:D these are writings from fans. you can see Opel for example painted there by fans honoring the brand. the writings are to fire the drivers up.

the writing on the road is mostly of fans writing cheers to their favorite team, driver...

Especially in the days before the 24 hour event many people camping there go to the track at night and paint on it, so you will see especially many Opel, Porsche and BMW signs on the road, or driver names like Stuck, Bernhard and this year propably Röhrl often again.

But of course there are all kinds of other "Graffiti" on the track, too, like e.g. some crosswalks/zebra crossings.
