A snippet from the finale of his Brisbane show. The Reverend was quite tired by end so this footage doesn't really show the true energy he had from the start. I wish I could have got more footage but it wasn't allowed in the first place. 63 years old and vocally he's still on the money. A real comic, amazing performer, and a true gentleman who has allot of love for others. He just oozed passion. I feel so fortunate to have witnessed this show, considering his music was prominent before I was born. Good vibes all round!
By the way, don't forget to check out the FRESH support act from the night, 'The Ray Mann Three', from Sydney. I could hear the D'Angelo influence in their music. A touch of Al Green, Sam Cooke, even. Soul/Jazz warmth with a Hip-Hop groove. These guys can play! They are doing it BIG. Check them out.
