2004 G35 Coupe Door Lock Problem

Description of the problem I am having with my passenger side door lock. I cannot unlock the door using my remote, or even using the inside switch. The only way to unlock the passenger side door is to open it with the inside door handle. Once the door has been opened this way, it will open from the outside all subsequent times until the car is locked again. I have been told it may be a door lock actuator problem, but I cant even manually unlock the door so I dont know if a weak actuator makes sense. Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem except that i can actually toggle the lock switch in the door and either open or close from it. have you come up with a fix for this?
