@Downsideupside Actually, he was not drunk. My friends and I hung out with him for the rest of the night and returned to the cafe that he worked at later. He was a cool guy and was joking around with us. In return, he laughed at me for trying to speak Turkish. It's all in good fun.

To all of those of you that happen to be concerned: In no way was I trying to belittle this young man, nor was I trying to make fun of Turkish people in any way. This was more of a joke on my professor whom was not present.
