Vatsim Round the World Leg 4: Dubai to Moscow

This leg of the round the world trip on Vatsim sees us fly from Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, to Moscow's Domodedovo airport, Russia on Emirates Airlines flight UAE131 operated by an A330-200 airliner.

Initial Climb was to 38000ft with a step climb of 100ft into the metric 11600 metres, the equivelent of 38,100ft over Russia.

Interesting Effect: Passing over Armenia, the sun was well and truly set and through the Rostov/Volovograd area the sky had turned dark in true night. however an hour later, further north in Moscow the sun began "Un-Setting" in the west with a distinct afterglow appearing on the horizon. It was if we were chasing the sun. Of course if we had continued into the arctic circle and toward the north pole the sun would truly have risen again, quite likley in the southwest. It's one of those things that is magnificent and very very cool.
