http://www.reuseit.com The most portable water purification system we've seen yet, the SteriPEN Journey takes the guesswork out of clean, safe water. With ultraviolet light, this tiny purifier disrupts the DNA of microbes in seconds. Without functional DNA, those microbes can't get you sick. Whether camping, traveling or just being cautious about clean drinking water, purification has never been so fast and easy. Simply push the button to activate, place the lamp in clear water to illuminate and stir until a smiley face appears on the LCD screen. No pumping, test strips, chemicals or filters.

There is the classic which runs on a couple AAA's and is the largest of the 3, it's the "Workhorse" of them.
The Journey is lighter then the classic
The Adventure is the lightest and smallest one.
I have this one (Jouney) and have been pleased with it. I've only used it on a few weekend trips around 6,000 feet. It's so much faster then the ppl pumping, but I would have a backup... electronics are not fullproof.
