Literature does evolve, mythical creatures get a make over, I accept that, but what disturbs me about Twilight is some of the fans take this to an extreme. Just like Harry Potter fans. They go head to head about it. *shakes head* Just enjoy the book and move on. Life is out there.

@LazyLonestar i sooooo agree with you. JK Rowling is so humble and gracious while stephenie meyer wants and needs to hang around the hollywood crowd for attention. you dont see this with a lot of other authors. stephen king and dan brown's books were also made into movies and you didnt see them doing interview after interview or showing up at EVERY SINGLE movie premiere. a good author knows they're good and is secure enough not to vie for media attention like a whore.
