Too many legal lynchings. When there is the slightest doubt don't. The death penalty is not a deterrent and when it was banned in my country it showed the opposite.

Firstly there are many on Death Row who are innocent, and they should be given every chance to prove their truth. Too many mistakes have been shown of the prison system sending innocent people to the death chamber. To murder someone by death penalty will not bring back the life that person took away. The Death Penalty has been proven to not be a deterrent, it is an unsuccessful, outdated, vengeful practice.
