The crystal semi modular synth description is a semi-modular software synthesizer featuring both subtractive synthesis and frequency modulation (FM) synthesis. It offers abundant modulation control with over 90 parameters which may be modulated, multi-stage envelopes with graphical editors, extensive tempo sync of envelopes/lforates/delay times, built-in effects for chorus/flanging/comb filtering/echoes, and a band splitter for effects processing by frequency band. Not only that, Crystal has wave sequencing, granular synthesis, program morphing, MIDI learn, and imports soundfonts.

One of my favorite synths! I use this all the time to make my trance music! Primarily I use it to make my leads, but i also use it for my pads/basslines.

very cool synth, I especially lose the breed function that lets you combine two presets. is there a return to default button though? just so its easier to start building up a sound from scratch with no effects or envelopes drawn already

Where can I find the user's manual? Lol this thing looks like a foreign language after using only 3xosc for almost a year straight.

@KaslarProductions its a free VSTi plugin. so you can load it into your VST host program. either controll it with a MIDI controller, typing on your keyboard in some programs, or using MIDI graphs to trigger notes

how do you control the sound (midi keyboard, sequencer)? does it have away to program riffs in crystal itself??
