The Oral Surgery Experience

This is what goes through someone's mind before and after getting a tooth extraction. I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed, while my younger brother got 2 of his molars removed.

I'm about to get some teeth removed tomorrow and I was wondering. Am I required to wear a patient gown during oral surgery?

As far as I know, no. I was wearing my own clothes for the duration of the surgery.

Does the stitches getting removed hurt? My molars wee removed recently, and it hurt for the first few hours. Next week I"m going back to get the stitches removed,

You wont even feel the stitches coming out :D

i had all four of mine removed but i was on verset and lauging gass and novacane and i also had 800 mg of ibprofuin but when all that wore off i was in apin untill i took more ibprofin. i hope everyhting is going wel for you now.

Yep, everything is just fine now :) I just got the stitches taken out today

I hate my teeth so bad it looks like ill never have perfect teeth, i got 8 teeth removed on monday 4 wisdom teeth and 2 molars and 2 others and the ugliest part is i still had a baby tooth and there was a adult teeth stuck after the surgery it looked like something from saw they put a metal chain in my mouth pulling the teeth down omg i look like a monster and i got braces

It doesn't hurt. I was awake for the whole thing; it's after the surgery that hurts.

Thanks for the vid..I was a little nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed...but if you can go through it, I guess it might not be that bad. ^_^

Haha, ahhh, that really sucks. I was awake during surgery with a mild sedative but it was the worst. The fat face part isn't so fun.

im in seventh grade and i got 9 teeth pulled and it didnt reaelly hurt
