  • to be a good bass player you just need to do awesome bass lines which sound great.you don't need to play difficult ones

  • @abarbar06 WHY ?! IT"S BLINK FUCKING 182

  • mark hoppus rocks.........

  • Yeah, but that's ALL Tom does: at least Mark has the balls to deviate instead of mirror 24/7, how is it fast and brutal if you can't even hear him? *shrug*

  • @Toolsquatch thats why i said or even tom araya. and half the stuff mark does is "mirrior" thats what they did in punk. and if no punk there would be no pop punk like blink. so even if tom does "mirrior" atlest he does it fast and brutal. btw its called following

  • @PrisonBreakFilms Well those 2 are great bassists with simple lines its right, but i think mark has very fun lines to play, even tough most of them are just root notes.

I think mark`s style is similar to Karl Alvarez

  • @Leojk87 oh absolutely, but what i'm trying to say is if you put a guy like peter hook or simon gallup in blink, who also play quite simply, they would do a way better job than mark hoppus

  • To this day, I can't hear Tom Araya in any Slayer songs: all he does is mirror the guitars, so boring.

  • @PrisonBreakFilms ¿? This is punk man! (or at least pop punk) you`re not supossed to be good but original & inspirational, for example Dee Dee Ramone wrote kick ass simple bass lines!

  • Any idiot can play blink's bass lines.
