In a press conference of "Jammu Pvt. Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive)" held on today i.e. Monday, 8th. November 2010 at Press Club Jammu, following sensitive issues were raised against the ignorant & casual attitude of Jammu & Kashmir state government towards the important field of school education.
A) --- Government's directives to private schools while giving an unjustified exemption to the CBSE affiliated schools despite of having a territorial jurisdiction under Law.
B) --- Height of government's non seriousness towards the JK Board question papers leakage scams of recent past.
C) --- Need of financial support from the government for implementation of recent hasty & unexercised amendments in the labor Laws.
D) --- Ongoing efforts of both state & central governments to route out the unrest in the state particularly the valley will be futile without the basic urgently needed administrative reforms.

Association also appealed to the respectable managements of the private schools to immediately stop the illegally operated LPG using vans for transportation of the students in view of a total risk to the innocent lives.
