How to root the Samsung Epic 4G on Froyo and Gingerbread

You will need to FOLLOW this first if you are on EI22 OR EL30!!!

Thank You for the video, it worked just fine for me:) I was wondering if it is necessary to update to the latest build of ACS or CWM? can i use CWM5 instead of ACS for this particular root? Just wondering for the future. Thanks again!!!

odin does nto recognize my epic. also when i go to download the su to sd it come sin two folders meta-info and sytem. hellllpppp please.

just did everything and it went right but when i open superuser....no apps are listed. Did i do it wrong??? Superuser v3.07.7 Su binary v3.0.3.2

I am to the point where i should be able to install the package with clockworkmod, i just dragged the whole file over to sd card and its not showing up did i do something wrong? please help, thanks

GOT IT!. THANK YOU SO MUCH NOT SURE WHAT I CAN DO WITH THIS i only needed rooting for a wifi tether! im sure i will learn more about this and what i can do with it
