Well, apart from the mad bint in the red hat who took over-acting to new heights, this was fecking hilarious! I'm toatlly unfamiliar with this group, but that sketch was just plain rocking good comedy. The 'evil British children' was 1st class, and spot on,lol.

@bugstrut That is a long and very romantic story.
-
@rosmarinusofficialis So how did you end up marrying a Scouser?
-
@rosmarinusofficialis is a bit of a chestnut. The German people are still beating themselves up about the war, believe me, me included. My father was drafted into the Wehrmacht; he was a member of the Social Dem. Party which Hitler proscribed even before the Communists. First in France, then in Russia he was a clerk and drove trucks. He only escaped being court -martialled for refusing to handle a rifle through the intervention of an influential friend.
-
@bugstrut Well, I could argue that if it had not been for the crippling reparations Germany had to pay after WW1 there would not have been WW2. And before you say anything about that, Germany had a pact with Austria and had to help her after she decided to go to war with Serbia. If you don't believe me, I will quote the Oxford Dictionay of 20th C. History to you. I am beginning to like you, though I have been a LFC fan since 1962. I think what you said about the German governmet and the Queen
-
@rosmarinusofficialis I can't believe this! A German trying to make a Brit feel guilty about the War!! It's like when your Government asked the Queen to apologise for defending ourselves during the War! I'm not a big fan of the Queen, but I love her like a Grandmother for the way she refused to apologise! I know a lot of people, like you, had nothing to do with the hundreds of thousands of deaths caused by the War, but expecting us to apologise is madness! As for Everton, yes, I am a supporter.
-
@bugstrut 80% of my home town was destroyed by allied bombing. I narrowly escaped death - but you'd rather I had perished, I suppose. My husband is a Liverpudlian, my children were born there. Are you an Everton supporter by any chance?
-
@rosmarinusofficialis Hearsay and biased films? Are you for real? My Great Uncle fought in the war, and my hometown was the worst -hit in the country, after London. Oh, and as for our language, if it's that much of a joke to you, why don't you stick to typing your comments in German? Oh, that's right, I forgot, nobody speaks your language, except you and the Austrians!!! LOL!!!
-
@bugstrut Judging by the sort of videos you like it is unlikely that you lived through the "Blitz" (you, the British, cannot even invent an English word for it), and all your knowledge comes from hearsay and biased films. I'll have you know that the first air raid alarm was raised in my home town the day war broke out.
they are really funny you should check out thier other sketches
