Why do we need to protect the UAW???? And GM, Chysler bailout's with our taxdollars??? Noone stood up to protect TEXTILE companies...and look and all the jobs it took away and there retirement & benefits....My dad lost over 20 yrs!!!! And because of BILL CLINTON & NAFTA, my husband has now lost 3 jobs {2 to MEXICO & 1 to CHINA} AMERICANS BETTER START PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT'S GOING ON.... this is why we have so many unemployed AMERICAN CITIZENS!!!!

Don't you people realize that Bush era Republicanism is dead? It's over! The only thing that whole Goddamn administration had was 9/11! He played it to the end . The fear he and draft-dodger Cheney spread about the "turrists" coming to destroy our country was all they had. That's how they won in '04. Clinton fatigue and "God, guns, and gays" was how they won in '00. People have woke up though.

Hey insect, I still don't think you realize the gravity of the situation. Your whole auto industry is going to cease to exist up there real soon. I don't care if your UAW or not. Its not going to help if there is no job/industry for you. Tell me how that soup is tonight when you go stand in line.  I can understand your pissed that your health insurance (beacause of the recession and budget cuts) decided to longer provide you with that ample supply of much needed VIAGRA.

Shithead, just cause we're in a recession doesn't mean working people should roll over & accept huge cuts & pay/benefits, not when the SOB's who helped create this mess get bailed out and the Iraq gravy train keeps rolling! Repubs actually savor this recession, so they can blame Obama if it doesn't end soon & it will enable companies to lower wages and standards! With Obama and Dem controlled House they knew unions would get stronger; now they're hoping people in fear will help break unions!
